Privacy Policy

Mindria, a puzzle game for iPhone, iPad and Android. Last updated: October 31, 2026.

This policy explains how the Mindria app (the "app") handles information. The app is published by SEVNTEC SARL, France, under the AkwaDev brand ("we"), which is the data controller. Contact: contact@mindria.app.

1. In short

2. On your device and in your iCloud

Your progress, stars, coins, boosters in reserve, purchases and settings are saved in the app's storage on your device. Your save also keeps the last day you opened the app, so that a player who comes back after a week away gets a small gift of coins. We do not receive them. On iPhone and iPad they are included in your device backups like other app data. When iCloud is on for Mindria, the app also keeps a copy of your save (progress, stars, coins, boosters in reserve, purchases and the decors you own, not your settings) in your own iCloud account, through Apple's iCloud key-value storage: it follows you to your other devices signed in to the same Apple account and comes back if you delete and reinstall the app. Apple stores this copy under its own terms and privacy policy; we never receive it and cannot read it. You can stop it by turning iCloud off for Mindria in your device's settings (Settings, your name, iCloud). Without iCloud, and on Android, your save stays only on your device and is erased when you delete the app. There is no account of ours.

3. Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

When the app crashes, or meets a serious error it recovers from (for example a save it cannot read), it sends a technical report to Google Firebase Crashlytics: the trace of the error, the app version, the device model, the system version, free memory and storage, the level being played, and a random identifier created for this installation. To count sessions without a crash, it also sends a short record when the app starts, with the same technical details. Your IP address is used to transmit this data. It contains no name, no email address and no advertising identifier.

Purpose and legal basis: keeping the app working, which is our legitimate interest. Crash reports are on by default. You can turn them off at any time with the "Crash reports" switch in the app's settings; reports not yet sent are then deleted.

4. Play statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

Once you have won your first level, the app asks whether you want to share play statistics. Nothing is sent before you answer, and nothing at all if you decline.

If you accept, the app sends Google Analytics for Firebase how the game is played: levels started, won, failed or left, time, moves and stars, boosters used, coins running short, in-app purchases and the Daily Challenge, with technical information (device model, system version, app version, language, and the country or region deduced from your IP address) and a random identifier created for this installation. It also sends the optional videos you watch, your advertising choices (your answers to Google's consent form and to Apple's tracking prompt) and whether the Daily Challenge reminder notifications are allowed. If you installed the game after tapping or seeing one of our Apple Ads ads, it also sends that ad's campaign, ad group and keyword, which Apple provides without any advertising identifier, so that we can measure what our own ads bring in; the app asks Apple for them only after you accept. The advertising identifier is never collected, and this data is not used for advertising.

Purpose and legal basis: balancing the difficulty of the levels and improving the game, based on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with the "Play statistics" switch in the app's settings; the installation's identifier and the statistics not yet sent are then erased.

5. Optional videos (Google AdMob)

In some places the app offers a short video in exchange for coins, thirty more seconds or a booster. Watching is always your choice: the app shows no other advertising, no banners and no ads between levels, and the ads shown are limited to content suitable for all ages. The videos are served by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC), which is responsible for the data it processes to serve them.

The first time you tap a video, the app asks for your choices: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland through Google's consent form, then, on iPhone and iPad, through Apple's tracking prompt. If you decline Google's form, Apple's prompt is not shown. If you accept, Google may use your device's advertising identifier and cookies or similar technologies to show ads that suit you better and to measure them. If you decline, you can still watch videos: the ads are then not personalised, but Google still processes technical data, such as your IP address, device model and system version, to deliver the ad, limit how often it appears and prevent fraud.

Purpose and legal basis: offering optional videos that help fund the game; personalised ads and the advertising identifier are used only with your consent. You can change your choices at any time under "Ad privacy choices" in the app's settings, where Google's form applies, and the tracking permission in your device's settings (on iPhone and iPad: Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking). How Google uses this data: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

6. Weekly Challenge leaderboard and achievements (Game Center)

On iPhone and iPad, the Weekly Challenge ranks players by time in Game Center, Apple's gaming service. If you are signed in to Game Center, the app sends Apple your time on the week's puzzle the first time you solve it. That time appears on the week's leaderboard under your Game Center nickname, visible to other players according to your Game Center settings, and the app shows the top of the leaderboard and your place.

If you are signed in to Game Center, the app also reports to Apple your progress on Mindria's Game Center achievements (levels won, stars, Daily Challenge streaks, Relax puzzles, seasonal event paths), without any extra tap. Your achievements are visible to your Game Center friends according to your Game Center settings.

Game Center is an Apple service, and Apple processes this data in its own right under its terms and privacy policy. We do not receive it on our servers: we only see what the leaderboard shows everyone. Signing in is your choice: the app only offers the sign-in sheet when you tap "Sign in". Without Game Center, and on Android, your time stays in your save. To stop, sign out of Game Center in your device's settings (Settings, Game Center).

7. Purchases

Coin packs are sold through the App Store on iPhone and iPad, and through Google Play on Android. Payment is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies: we receive no payment card details and no information about your Apple or Google account. The app keeps the identifier of each transaction in its save (on your device and, with iCloud, in your iCloud) so that a purchase is delivered once, and it is told of refunds by the store to take back the coins they covered.

8. Who receives the data

Crash reports and play statistics are processed on our behalf by Google (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC), our processor under the Firebase data processing terms. For the optional videos, Google AdMob processes data as a controller in its own right (section 5). Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) distribute the app and handle purchases. We do not sell or rent any data, and apart from Google AdMob for the optional videos we share nothing with advertisers or data brokers.

9. Transfers outside the European Union

Google may process this data in the United States. These transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where needed, on the standard contractual clauses included in Google's terms.

10. How long data is kept

11. Children

Mindria is a puzzle game for a general audience. It is not specifically directed at children and has no account and no chat; ads appear only in videos the player chooses to watch, limited to content suitable for all ages. Play statistics are only sent with consent. A parent who thinks their child has shared statistics can turn the switch off or write to us.

12. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to object to its processing, to restrict it, to its portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Because the data is tied only to a random identifier of an installation, the switches in the app's settings are the quickest way to act on it. For any request, write to contact@mindria.app. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) or with the data protection authority of your country.

13. This website

mindria.app uses no cookies and no audience measurement. Your choice of language is remembered in your browser's local storage. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical connection data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the pages.

14. Security

Data leaves your device only over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

15. Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision, and significant changes will be shown in the app.
