Frequently asked questions
How do I play?
Drag each waiting piece into the shape. The turn and flip keys at the bottom left orient the selected piece. A level is won when the shape is completely filled. The first levels teach the gestures step by step.
How do stars work?
Every level has its own time. Finish with half of it left or more for three stars, within the time for two. If the time runs out, you can add thirty seconds for coins; the level is then worth one star.
What do the boosters do?
Orientation turns a waiting piece the right way, Location shows the cells a piece will fill, and Time freezes the clock for thirty seconds. They cost coins, or come from your reserve if you bought a lot in the shop. Your first use of each one is free.
What are the difficulty tiers?
Discovery, Reflection, Strategy, Mastery and Virtuoso. A level's tier comes from how hard it is to solve, measured by our solver, and the campaign climbs gradually.
What is the Daily Challenge?
Each day, a new puzzle. Six days a week it is built from a level you have already beaten: the same shape, other pieces in place. On Sunday it is a picture never seen anywhere in the game. It opens once you have won a level of the campaign.
What is the Weekly Challenge?
The same puzzle for everyone, Monday to Sunday; it changes on Monday at 00:00 UTC. It opens after level 30 of the campaign and is played without boosters: your time counts all your tries until your first win, which pays 30 coins. On iPhone and iPad, if you are signed in to Game Center, that time goes on the week's leaderboard under your Game Center nickname; replaying afterwards does not change it.
What is Relax mode?
Puzzles with no clock: replay the shapes you have met, and play bonus puzzles, sold in packs for coins in the shop.
How do I get coins?
By winning a level for the first time, finishing a block of the campaign, playing the Daily Challenge, or watching a short video from the + next to your coins, twice a day. Coin packs are also sold in the shop. The Weekly Challenge pays 30 coins the first time you solve it.
I bought coins but did not receive them.
A purchase is delivered as soon as the store confirms it, even after a restart. If it is waiting for a parent's approval (Ask to Buy on Apple devices, Family Link on Google Play), the coins arrive once it is approved. Close and reopen the app; if nothing changes, write to us with the date of the purchase.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store you paid: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, Google Play from your order history in the Play Store.
Is my progress saved? Can I move it to a new device?
On iPhone and iPad, when iCloud is on for Mindria, your progress and your coins are kept in your own iCloud: they follow you to your other devices signed in to the same Apple account, and come back if you reinstall the app. Without iCloud, your progress stays on your device and is part of its backups: restore your new device from a backup of the old one to find it. "Restore purchases" in the shop gives back the purchases of your Apple account. There is no account of ours.
How do I change the language?
Mindria follows your device's language and speaks 20 languages. You can pick another one in the app's settings, under Language.
What data does Mindria send?
Crash reports, which you can turn off, and play statistics, only if you agree. Both switches are in the app's settings. If you watch an optional video, Google AdMob serves it according to your ad choices. The details are in our privacy policy. On iPhone and iPad, if you are signed in to Game Center, your Weekly Challenge time also goes to Apple for its leaderboard. Your progress on Mindria's Game Center achievements goes to Apple as well.
Does Mindria work offline?
Yes. The whole game works without a connection; only purchases and the optional videos need one. So does the Weekly Challenge leaderboard: a time won offline is sent at the next connection, within the same week.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or later. The Android version is coming to Google Play.
Is Mindria accessible?
On iPhone and iPad, the board, the pieces and the menus work with VoiceOver, and the game follows Reduce Motion. Tell us what would make it easier for you to play.
